Agreement
By using PasteDiff you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
The service
PasteDiff provides free, browser-based utilities for comparing text and code (text compare / online diff). The product is offered as free forever, without accounts, paid plans, or advertising on the tool pages.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Diff output may be imperfect for very large inputs or unusual encodings; verify critical changes with your own review process.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the content you paste and for complying with laws that apply to you. Do not attempt to disrupt the hosting infrastructure or misuse the site to harm others.
Local processing
Comparison runs in your browser. You remain responsible for securing your device and for any copies you download (including .diff files and privacy receipts).
Intellectual property
PasteDiff branding, layout, and original copy on this site are provided for use of the service. Third-party libraries (such as diff-match-patch) remain under their respective licenses.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SqueezeCodex and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits arising from your use of PasteDiff.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
